I have practiced law and served as a United States Judicial Clerk for over thirty years. I have tried both civil and criminal cases to verdict in state and federal courts in New Mexico. I Have also argued before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, and I have a number of published opinions in the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court including important first impression cases concerning priority under the UCC, the application of collateral estoppel to Workers Compensation proceedings in New Mexico, a complex land-use zoning case involving the local NBC television affiliate involving the use of a helicopter and helipad, and a First Amendment Establishment Clause case that concerned the ministerial exception and church autonomy doctrines.
